About Me
Creativity has always been a throughline in my life. Whether in art, design, or my work as a Realtor with Modern Asheville Real Estate—where we take a thoughtful, design-centric approach—I bring a creative mindset to everything I do.
Before settling in Asheville in 2006 and beginning a rewarding real estate career in 2008, I studied Architecture, Graphic Design, and Fine Arts in college. I worked with several creative powerhouses including Disney, Hallmark, Sony, and Universal Studios, and eventually owned and operated an art gallery and retail store in Astoria, Oregon. Each chapter deepened my relationship with visual culture, storytelling, and human-centered design.
Outside of real estate, I continue to explore photography, writing, and mixed media. My photography site is a space where I share my visual work—often in collaboration with other creatives—but I needed a place where all of my expressions could live together. This is why I created this site: a central hub for my evolving creative practice.
At the heart of it is my blog, which has become much more than a place to share updates or finished pieces. It’s where I process. A journal of sorts—part sketchbook, part mirror—where I explore thoughts on the world, culture, identity, and the often complex topics we face today. Writing is a way for me to reflect in real time, to navigate both the beauty and the tension of our current moment. It’s a personal conversation that sometimes leads to clarity, sometimes more questions—but always keeps me engaged and grounded.
This space isn’t just a portfolio—it’s a living archive of what I see, feel, and wrestle with, both as a creator and as a human in the world.
